A World Champion Magician in Vancouver
Shawn Farquhar is a Canadian magician and illusionist whose career has taken him from British Columbia to stages and audiences around the world. He is recognized as the Grand Prix World Champion of Magic and is known for sophisticated sleight of hand, original magic and memorable audience experiences.
Based in British Columbia, Shawn performs internationally while remaining closely connected to the Vancouver region. His work spans live theatre, corporate events, private events, television and the magic community.

The distinction
Two-Time World Champion of Magic
In August 2009, Shawn won the Grand Prix World Championship at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Beijing, the highest overall prize at the international competition often regarded as the Olympics of Magic. He is also the only magician in history to win first place at the International Brotherhood of Magicians in both Stage and Sleight of Hand categories.
His honors also include two Canadian Magician of the Year awards and first-place recognition at the Society of American Magicians competition. He became the second magician in the world to complete the celebrated Triple Crown of magic by taking first place at IBM, SAM and FISM.
